These tips will help you get the most out of your scalp exercise routine.
Wash your hands before doing scalp exercises (or whenever you touch around your scalp or face) to avoid getting dirt and irritants in your skin and to prevent the spread of disease.
Close your eyes and take several long, deep breaths before you begin.
Unless otherwise instructed, keep movements smooth and relaxed.
Keep pressure as light as you can for any exercises that call for you to press your fingers to your scalp.
When you are new to an exercise, don’t exert the muscles too much. Start slowly and lightly, building up over time.
Keep your scalp supple and hair soft by using an essential oil mix before, during, and after scalp exercises (see Appendix 5).
Don’t wear a hat or other accessories on your head while doing exercises.
